Master in Health Professions Education (MHPE)

The JSMU MHPE program is among the most sought-after programs in Pakistan. This is not only because of its highly qualified and experienced faculty but also because of the unique emphasis on the development of critical thinking and practical skills that an educationist will need once s/he enters this profession. This is a 2.5-year, blended program, with two face-to-face sessions per year. Any health professional may apply to this program.

The program lays great stress on analysis of evidence followed by decision making. It also provides ample opportunities to learners for experiential learning. Students are expected to turn in high quality assignments and demonstrate innovation of thinking and efficiency in a number of educational skills.

Mission

The program endeavors to develop a cadre of professionals capable of improving the quality of the existing undergraduate, postgraduate and CME programs in heath professional institutions, conducting educational research and leading sustainable evidence-based innovations where and when required. The ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of the graduates and health care delivery.
