Message
It’s my pleasure to present the Department of Pathology Sindh Medical College and Dental section of Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences for the Website of Jinnah Sindh Medical University. Pathology is a core discipline of Medical and dental Sciences that not only prepares pre-clinical students for clinical studies but it extends to the day to day clinical practice so as to provide diagnostic tools to the future medical & dental Practitioners. It is a backbone of Medical and Dental Sciences that comprises of many subspecialties including Histopathology, Microbiology, Chemical Pathology, Hematology and Immunology.
Pathology Department has a dedicated teaching faculty. We follow the integrated modular system of medical education which is approved by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. We have three large dedicated laboratories comprising of Histopathology, Microbiology and Clinical Pathology. Museum that has large number of preserved organs showing the pathological lesions. Our dedicated faculty help Students learn the topics with the help of latest audiovisual and multimedia facilities.
