GOALS
The goals of a Pharm-D (Doctor of Pharmacy) program majorly focus on preparing students to become highly competent and ethical pharmacy practitioners. Here are defined goals for a Pharm-D program:
- Educational Excellence: Provide a rigorous andcomprehensive curriculum that integrates basic andclinical sciences, pharmaceutical care, and practice management to ensure students acquire theknowledge and skills necessary for effective pharmaceutical practice.
- Professional Competence: Develop students' ability to apply their knowledge in real-world settings through hands-on practice and experiential learning opportunities, including internships and clinical /industry rotations, to ensure they can deliver high-quality patient care and optimal services.
