Message
It is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the Department of Community & Preventive Dentistry at Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences.
Dental Public Health is dedicated to improving oral health at the community level through effective health promotion, disease prevention, education, and accessible treatment services. Our focus extends beyond individual care to addressing the broader determinants of oral health and ensuring equitable access for all segments of society.
At SIOHS, we provide high-quality oral health education, comprehensive examinations, preventive services such as dental sealants, and appropriate referrals for children through our established clinical departments. At the same time, we prepare our dental students to understand and respond to the unique needs of underserved children and the communities in which they live, nurturing both professional excellence and social responsibility.
